The woodcutter hires the PCs to find out what is going on. In the course of their investigation, the PCs may find help from some Hobbits, who are aware of the spy’s activities.

Synopsis : The story begins when the PCs arrive at dusk in a little village. A few hours later, an attack is lead by angmarim knights and wolf-riders against that village which is only defended by a few Rangers. After a harsh battle, the PCs are asked by the dying ranger leader to go to Angmar and see what new threat is rising, and then bring the news to Aragorn, at Rivendell.
