Usage
You can read and edit the contents of this site by downloading the archive below.
It holds the complete book in four formats:
- PDF — the whole book, to read or print as it is.
- DOCX — for Microsoft Word, LibreOffice, Pages or Google Docs.
- ODT — the OpenDocument open format, for LibreOffice.
- Markdown — the site files as they were written, with their images.
About Markdown
The contents of this site are written in Markdown, a plain-text format that opens in any text editor and converts to just about every other text format.
Markdown is presented on its author’s own site (John Gruber): Daring Fireball.
It is the most fitting format for reading, editing or archiving your roleplaying material over the long run: it depends on no particular software, and it will still be readable in a distant future.
Saving a single page as PDF
The site carries a print stylesheet. To keep a single page rather than the whole book, choose “Print” in your browser, then “Save as PDF”.
